Dr Sharif Islam

Dr Islam graduated from London’s King’s College School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2001. After his first post in Mid-Wales he joined Cavendish House Dental Practice at the start of 2004.

He holds the Certificate in Restorative Dentistry from the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute, a world-renowned centre of excellence for dentistry. Dr Islam enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry, especially cosmetic composite veneers, and is particularly adept at treating children.

He has a keen interest in nutrition and the essential role it plays in improving health and preventing disease. He has written numerous articles for dental media, including many for the British Dental Journal, and has even had two children’s books published.

Dr Islam maintains an excellent work-life balance that enables him to enjoy all his creative pursuits.
