Melissa qualified from the Liverpool School of Dentistry in 1996, receiving the Philip Capon prize for Paediatric Dentistry in her final year. She worked full time in NHS practices in Liverpool, Chester and North Wales until returning to London in 2001.
She then worked at a mixed family practice in West Hampstead, leaving to join Cavendish House in 2016.
Melissa enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is passionate about prevention, believing that by educating patients, and providing high quality, minimally invasive dentistry, patients will be able to keep their teeth for life.
She also enjoys challenging peoples perceptions that dentistry is frightening and she is often rewarded with a sleeping patient during treatment.
Outside of work, Melissa has a husband and three rapidly growing sons who keep her very busy. When she manages to find any spare time she can be found on a spin bike or doing pilates.
